The name Imveliso comes from the Xhosa verb ukuvelisa, meaning “to produce” or “to create.” This meaning reflects the way we approach business. We do not simply trade products. About The Founders
The company was founded by Jeremy and Candice Quinton, combining two decades of technology experience with strong financial and operational expertise. Jeremy spent 20 years in the tech industry, bringing a systems-driven approach to e-commerce, automation and marketplace growth. Candice is a qualified CIMA accountant who worked for global brands in London, bringing financial discipline, commercial insight and a strong understanding of scalable business operations.
After living in London for eight years, Jeremy and Candice saw first-hand the variety, convenience and product choice available in mature e-commerce markets. When they returned to South Africa, they realised that local consumers often had far fewer options online, especially when looking for practical, well-priced and good-quality products.
That insight became one of the foundations of Imveliso Group: to source and build products they would be happy to buy themselves, and to make those products more accessible to South African consumers.
